The Easter Story Egg - A Fun New Way to Teach the True Meaning of Easter

Are you looking for something fun and new to do with your children at Easter?

We stumbled upon The Easter Story Egg and had to share it with you!

We want to make sure we always teach the true meaning of Easter to our children and this is a fun way to do it--using these beautiful wooden painted nesting eggs to tell His story.

Here is how it works:

Friends, these are from the same people who made the popular The Star From Afar.

Here is what is covered:

"The Story Egg is a tradition that celebrates the true meaning of Easter. This family activity includes a hardcover book and 7 wooden nesting Eggs. The Story Egg book begins on Palm Sunday and ends on Easter Sunday. Each Egg within the set of nesting Eggs has a story that relates to a particular day in Holy Week, leading up to Easter Sunday. As the children open each Egg they will discover the Easter story and the journey of Jesus through Holy week."

This family tradition can be experienced 2 different ways:

Starting on Palm Sunday read the beginning of the Story Egg book and continue reading through the story of the Palm Sunday Egg. On Monday, open the Palm Sunday Egg to discover your new Egg and read the story of House of Prayer Monday in your Story Egg book. Continue in this pattern until Easter Sunday.

Or – read it all at once!

  • Palm Sunday
  • House of Prayer Monday
  • Teacher of Love Tuesday
  • Give and Take Wednesday
  • Last Supper Thursday
  • Good Friday
  • Holy Saturday
  • Easter Sunday
They also make a great:

  • Family Tradition -celebrate the true meaning of Easter with this interactive hands on activity
  • Fun Easter Gift -great basket stuffer and treasured present from parents and grandparents
  • Teaching Tool – this activity helps kids understand the Easter story and reminds them of God’s love
  • Keepsake Decoration - hardcover book and 7 colorful wooden nesting eggs in a quality durable box.
  • Daily Count Down – discover a new egg and story everyday from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday

If you are looking for a new way to teach the Easter story to your children, we definitely think this is a wonderful option!

You can find it HERE.

We hope it is a blessing to your family!
